import mysql databases in mysql console – cmd

By | 29/01/2017

Being a Web Developer in PHP is good. But, if you want to Re-install your WAMP it will be a bit tough and time consuming process. Hardest part is, restoring all the databases as in previous WAMP / XAMPP. If you Export the all the databases you need to increase the “MAX EXECUTION TIME” to high and pray for the Database Export process to complete within the “MAX EXECUTION TIME” of PHP. If you need to restore/backup more Databases at single time, you better move on to the MYSQL Console of WAMP or XAMPP .

In Windows 7, better way to Import mysql databases is by the “ COMMAND PROMPT

“#mysqldump -u [username] -p [password] [database name] < [filename]”
